It is intended to serve as a tracking metric to assist the owner in the field with construction inspection. While it is beneficial to see a successful project take shape, the field is the location where problems and their results can be first identified. The more thorough an understanding of the management of the project, the more likely it is to find problems before they occur.
  • Commissioning
    Commissioning involves achieving, verifying, and documenting the design intent of buildings' systems. The main benefit of commissioning is the assurance it provides the building owner that systems are installed appropriately and functioning at or above required efficiency levels. A commissioned building, therefore, often has lowered operational and maintenance costs and increased overall performance. Getting systems to operate properly involves solving many diverse challenges. We feel design engineers are uniquely qualified to verify performance of systems, solve problems, and verify the completion of all subcontractors' work to deliver a completely functioning system.
